What is wellness and health? It seems like a simple question. But, it can be so confusing.
Both "health" as well as "wellness" are the same in my dictionary. Without consulting the published dictionary, I would say that being healthy and feeling well are our normal state of being. Anything that disturbs this we call a disorder.
Normal state of being includes feeling healthy, strong, happy, loved, and loving. Our normal state of health is one where we enjoy life and the environment around us.

These are just a few examples.

You can find more. The key to understanding what health and well-being is, is to understand what it isn’t. Although it's tempting to define it this way, it is not the same as being free from disease. It is living fully in the present moment, using all that our bodies, minds, spirits, and environment have to offer.
This century's technology allows us to live more comfortably than any monarch or queen ever did. Yet, we have diseases, obesity, viral-caused illnesses, bacteria-caused illnesses, and a lot of other undiagnosed ailments. Why is health and wellness so difficult to find?
Lack of interest is the real problem. The world is increasingly competitive. We live in ever denser cities. The best part of every day is spent working. Our minds are focused on the task at hand. When we're not at work, our minds want to have fun, relax, unwind, and forget about our work responsibilities. This is why processed food companies are so attractive to us.
However, too often the nutrients that nourish and support our health and well-being are removed from the food.
Industry also produces toxic chemicals that can harm our health and overall wellbeing.
Stress is also a key factor in our health and well-being.
Because they all relate to the same thing, personal physical, financial, and environmental wellbeing must all be taken into consideration. We need to be mindful of our health and work towards a healthier world in all its facets
